Minnesota Estate Tax Exemption
The Minnesota Department of Revenue has asked our section to alert estate planning attorneys of a new notice concerning the Minnesota estate tax exemption, and to promote the availability of Excel spreadsheets for calculating the Minnesota tax:
- Minnesota Tax Calculator for Date of Deaths After 2002
- Minnesota Tax Calculator for Date of Deaths Prior to 2003
You must have a current version of Microsoft Excel (a spreadsheet program included with most versions of Microsoft Office) to run the file. If the links above do not work, try right-clicking the title, then following the screen prompts to save a copy to your computer.
