Mediations
I have been actively mediating for this past year, primarily in the employment law area.

Familiarity and Experience with State and federal Labor and Employment Laws
I have been practicing employment law since 1993. I started out representing employers in litigation and general contract matters. I then moved into a plaintiff's employment practice and have been litigating since 1994, while periodically still representing corporate defendants in employment disputes. I keep a faithful eye on changes in this area of the law, making me very familiar with the state and federal labor and employment laws.

Other Factors Relevant to Ability to Mediate Employment Disputes
I have recently transitioned my practice into a focus on mediation and corporate training. My personality is well suited to mediation. I am sensitive to the emotional aspects and business implications of these disputes and effectively utilize my knowledge of employment law in helping parties find the best solution to the dispute and arrive at closure. I believe in the power of the process and the need for mediators who are thorough, work hard and are committed to finding solutions.
