This program will provide an overview of the federal E-Verify program and the state laws affecting use of this program. Today,
E-Verify is available nationally for employers to use as a tool in complying with immigration laws. This program seeks to provide information regarding its history, the requirements of E-Verify, and to discuss how attorneys representing companies can advise corporate clients on the pros and cons of using E-Verify.

Kevin M. Mosher is a shareholder and senior attorney at Wessels Sherman’s Minnesota office. Kevin represents employers in all facets of their labor, employment and immigration law matters and has been the Director of the firm’s immigration practice since 2004. Kevin is a frequent speaker to business groups regarding various topics in labor, employment and immigration law, and was recently published by Aspatore (a division of West Publishing) in its book entitled “Employing International Workers. He is a MSBA Certified Labor & Employment Law Specialist.
