The Bylaws amendment also included a Section name change to incorporate device attorneys into the Section.
With the leadership of Erin Furlong and Kathy Meyerle, the Section sponsored a Student Writing Competition for the first time in 2011. Three students were honored at the Section’s annual meeting. The Section hopes to continue this program in 2011-12.

The Section Council worked diligently to increase membership in 2010-11. The Council’s efforts to offer new programs and invite new participants to Section events paid off. Section membership increased by 14% in 2010-11.
