"Motions To Remove a Child’s Residence to Another State and Locale Restrictions Post – Goldman v. Greenwood"
The presentation will give practitioners an idea of how motions to remove a child to another state and how court-imposed restrictions on a parent’s ability to remove a child’s residence have been addressed by Minnesota’s appellate courts both before and after the enactment of the 2006 amendments to Minn. Stat. Sec. 518.175, subd. 3 and the issuance of the Minnesota Supreme Court’s decision in Goldman v. Greenwood, 748 N.W. 2d 279 (Minn. 2008). I will also attempt to answer questions left open by the Goldman v. Greenwood opinion.
