“The Father’s Adoption Registry: Who Is (and Who Should Be) Using It.”
Helen Bassett- Father’s Adoption Registry
The Minnesota Fathers' Adoption Registry (MFAR) presentation is 60 minutes, and includes a 15-minute timeslot for attendees to share unique cases related to putative fathers, and a brief discussion among attendees regarding one of the cases; and a 15-minute Q & A opportunity following the main presentation. Attendees will receive a copy of the 2008 Minnesota Fathers' Adoption Registry Statute, and other handouts. The handouts will include fact sheets that are unique to the mandated users of the MFAR. Attendees may consider cases they may have encountered with putative fathers, which have unique circumstances, may propose their case for discussion during the 15-minute discussion period of the workshop.
Please join us for these discussions and more!
