"Green Marketing or Greenwashing? The FTC's Proposed Updated Green Guides"Presenters will discuss the Federal Trade Commission's proposed changes to the "Green Guides." The Green Guides constitute the FTC's guidance on how it will apply Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act, prohibiting unfair or deceptive acts, to environmental claims made to promote products. The seminar will address the differences between the old and new Green Guides, the process of amending the Green Guides, and the effect the proposed revisions might have.
