The MSBA's Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Law Section Presents:

"Chemical Management and Policy in Minnesota and the MSBA Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Law Section's Annual Meeting"
Please join the MSBA Environmental, Natural Resources and Energy Section before the CLE for their Annual Meeting and Elections.
Given outdated federal chemical management legislation and a chaotic approach that's recently been occurring at the state level, diverse stakeholders recognize the need for improving Minnesota's system of regulating and managing chemicals in consumer products. Representatives from industry, academia, state and local government and the environmental and public health advocacy community were convened by the nonprofit Environmental Initiative and met regularly for the past two years to debate these issues and build agreement around potential solutions. A panel of project participants representing a range of interests will discuss the outcomes of this process and what lies ahead for chemicals policy in Minnesota.
Panelists:
John Linc Stine, Acting Commissioner, Minnesota Pollution Control Agency
Scott Strand, Executive Director, Minnesota Center for Environmental Advocacy Robert Cattanach, Partner, Dorsey & Whitney LLP
