Attorney’s Fees Resources
Attorney Fee Awards in Minnesota Statutes: Information brief prepared and published by the House Research Department listing statutory provisions for attorney’s fees in Minnesota. Last updated December 2011. The list is comprehensive but not all-inclusive. 

Award of Attorneys’ Fees by Federal Courts and Federal Agencies: Congressional Research Service report listing instances in which attorney’s fees may be awarded in federal court and administrative proceedings. Last updated June 2008.

Financial Exploitation. Minn. Stat. § 626.557, Subd. 20 authorizes a private cause of action for financial exploitation allowing the plaintiff to recover treble damages, but no less than $10,000, and “reasonable attorney fees and costs,” including reasonable guardian/conservator fees.
