Annual Meeting and Election Results
The Section’s Annual Meeting was held on June 14, 2013 and 50 people attended.

Other Section Accomplishments
The Section authorized the preparation and filing of an amicus brief on its behalf in the case of Johnson Controls, Inc., et al. v. Helmberger, et al. (Case No. A12-0327). That matter is pending.
In addition, the Section worked with MSBA lobbyists to modify legislation proposed by Minnesota subcontractors in order to change Minnesota’s anti-indemnification statute. The Section’s efforts were aimed at ensuring that the new legislation did not result in unintended consequences that were adverse to the construction industry.
