Other Section Accomplishments
The 2013-14 year was very successful for the Communications Law Section. We made an effort to expand the scope of our section beyond telecommunications law. We reached out to the Computer Law Section and co-sponsored a wonderful CLE about social media.
We continue to investigate ways to expand the scope of our Section and make it relevant to more practitioners. We are considering expanding the scope of our Section to Technology Law.
Our annual Communications Law Forum was co-sponsored with the Arts & Entertainment Section. Speakers included industry experts and regulators. The Forum was well attended and very interesting. We enjoyed working with another Section and look forward to co-hosting more events with them. The feedback on the Forum was overwhelmingly positive.
