The MSBA's Civil Litigation Section Presents
"Legal Hold Best Practices in eDiscovery - the Good, the Bad and the Ugly"
Knowing how to preserve documents and other information in response to or in anticipation of a legal dispute is critical as courts throughout the country, including in Minnesota, examine preservation practices more closely. Learn what triggers your duty to preserve, when and to whom to issue a legal records hold, what to include in a legal records hold, and how to effectively implement and monitor the hold through employee participation and management buy-in. Hear document preservation scenarios and best practices from an eDiscovery vendor, in-house legal, outside litigation counsel and a Minnesota judge on how to meet your obligations and maximize efficiencies.
