"The State of the Child in Minnesota's Legal System"

Presentations will focus on how children are faring in Minnesota's legal system in the areas of juvenile justice, education, child protection and homelessness/unaccompanied youth. Panelists will discuss the gaps or shortcomings in legal services or representation of children, as well as gaps in the protection of children's rights and provision of services and entitlements. In addition to highlighting significant problems or trends, speakers will offer suggestions for changes that could/should be considered as a legal community.
