Section Membership Benefits
With over 1,100 members, the Business Law Section is one of the largest sections in the MSBA. The Section provides its members with:
- Power to influence the business community through drafting and proposing legislation (e.g., improvements to the Corporation, Partnership, and LLC Acts and the UCC) and sponsoring/testifying on proposed legislation.
- In-depth information on critical issues affecting business lawyers through the annual Business Law Institute, legislative updates, and timely breakfast and lunch hour CLE offerings.
- Opportunities to meet, work with, and build a powerful network of contacts through seminars, committees, and events.
- The chance to contribute to the profession and the community through projects such as CLE presentations and providing feedback to the Minnesota Secretary of State and Department of Commerce.
