"Navigating the 2012 Merger Guidelines and Recent Government Enforcement Activities"

The past two years have seen an update to the Horizontal Merger Guidelines, a number of merger challenges, and several major consent decrees in merger cases. Tasneem Chipty is an economist with Analysis Group and has worked on several recent merger and post-transaction contestation matters. Ryan Marth is an attorney at Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi who has counseled clients on merger-related issues and represented both merging parties and complainants before the FTC and DOJ. The panel will be moderated by James Nichols of Dorsey & Whitney LLP.

We have assembled a panel that will discuss how the changes to the guidelines and some of these recent merger cases affect the legal landscape for companies that are contemplating or are affected by mergers.
