"Artificial Intelligence: Robots, Avatars, and the Demise of the Human Mediator"
David Larson and Ronnie Howell with discuss whether science has advanced to the point that artificial intelligence devices can replace human mediators, arbitrators, dispute resolvers and problem solvers and whether humanoid robots and attractive avatars can create the requisite level of trust necessary to resolve disputes. They will also provide insights into what “virtual” mediation entails.
