 Message to Candidates
ZS is currently looking for skilled, bilingual undergraduate and graduate degree holders and candidates to join our Japan practice team. ZS provides organized training, including a two-week orientation session in Evanston, Illinois which gives new employees information on basic skills, resources and key ZS practice areas. The responsibility given to team members is commensurate with their ability; as skills grow, so do opportunities for project management and client communication. There are also opportunities to work on projects with teams in other ZS offices, some of which might involve travel or short-term assignments abroad.

ZS Associates is a global management consulting firm specializing in sales and marketing strategy, operations and execution. ZS is recognized for its expertise in go-to-market and sales force strategies and its downstream implementation capabilities. Many of ZS's clients are in the pharmaceutical and other life science industries.
ZS opened its Tokyo office in 2003 to better serve its clients in Japan. To strengthen the team, we are currently looking for candidates for the following positions:
* Operations Research Analyst(OR)- Use strong quantitative and analytic abilities to integrate and analyze data, develop and implement complex mathematical and statistical models that relate sales or marketing activities to financial results, develop custom analysis tools using Visual Basic and MS Access/Excel, conduct primary and secondary market research, and participate in client and project team meetings to present insights from analysis results. In addition to candidates with strong mathematical and statistical backgrounds, candidates with clinical and/or biological science backgrounds are encouraged to apply
* Business Associate(BA)- Design and conduct primary research, conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis (often utilizing third-party software packages and proprietary ZS tools), and design and deliver structured communications to present findings to clients
Examples of typical project types include sales force design, sales and marketing effectiveness, customer segmentation and targeting, sales forecasting, marketing research, and new product opportunity assessment
