Tokyo Summer Career Forum is one of the largest job fairs in Japan for Japanese-English bilinguals. This is an opportunity for you to meet company representative in-person at Tokyo Big Sight. It’s not just company information sessions, but an event with a chance to interview with companies and even receive a job offer by the end of the event. For those of you who want to work for a global company or want to make the most of your English ability, this is a must-attend event.

Japanese-English bilingual* with (including expected) a Bachelor's or higher degree.

    (Examples of participants)

  • Recent graduates or students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or higher degree program (Master, MBA, Ph.D., etc.) outside of Japan
  • Recent graduates or students currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or higher degree program (Master, MBA, Ph.D., etc.) in Japan and have study abroad experience
  • Have lived abroad or in a global environment regardless of study abroad experience
  • Professionals with study abroad or work experience outside of Japan

*A minimum of beginner level in both Japanese and English

Speaker:Atsuko Sakamoto
(CEO of Prime Time Co., Ltd.)
Atsuko started her career at Japan Airlines Co., Ltd. as an international flight attendant, which included working on-board the Japanese Air Force One aircraft for the prime minister's visits to the United States and the Venice Summit. She then went on to work in recruitment and human resource development at BASF Japan Co., Ltd., an international chemical company. In 1995, she started an independent and entrepreneurial human resource consulting firm.
She has helped to support over 60,000 individuals in their career thus far. Currently, she is actively training, lecturing and writing to promote transformation and problem solving skills for people and organizations, working with a range of individuals from executives to new recruits and students. In, 2012, she won the "Stevie Award"(Women's Business Award), often called the Academy Award of the business world. She continues to provide job hunting support for students based on the "must have features for work" that she has learned through many years working in corporate human resource development.
