The fourth annual New York Career Forum will be held this winter! Global companies will be actively looking for not just language skills, but candidates like you who have gained numerous professional skills and knowledge through your education and/or careers. For seniors and second-year graduate students who want to find a job before graduation, juniors and first-year graduate students looking for a summer internship, and working professionals looking for a career change or advancement, come find it at the New York Career Forum.

CFN will have several events & seminars for participants during the New York Career Forum to further support your job search.

★ Event ★

★Counseling Corner★

DISCO International staff will answer your questions about job searching. Please visit the Headquarter on the day of the event to reserve a time slot (30 minutes). Counseling will be conducted by appointment only.

★Resume editing / Mock Interview★

Career expert will edit your resume and conduct mock interviews. Reservations are required. All time slots for resume editing/mock interview has been filled. Thank you for applying.

★Two types of lounges for candidates★

A quiet "study lounge" to prepare for interviews, and a regular "lounge" to converse and network with other candidates will be available at the event.

★Seminar (All seminars will be held in Japanese)★

★Visa seminar for working in the USA★

If you are thinking of working in the United States after graduation or thinking of changing jobs within the United States, an immigration lawyer from Sindell Law Offices will be holding visa seminars during the event.

★Seminar on how to utilize the newspaper for your job search★

A seminar not to be missed by anyone who currently is, or just about to, start their job searching process. Knowing how to properly read the newspaper is key to gathering information for your job search. Nihon Keizai Shimbun will be holding a seminar on how to read The NIKKEI(newspaper) to assist with your job searching process.

If you are looking to job search in Japan, DISCO International will explain the current recruiting market and how to proceed with your job search in this seminar.

To attend the Career Forum, you must first register for the event. You will need to register for each Career Forum separately, even if you have participated in past Career Forum.

Japanese-English bilingual and one of the following:

•	Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or Ph. D. program outside of Japan
•	Graduated from a bachelor's, master's or Ph. D. program outside of Japan
•	Student from Japan currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate exchange program
•	Working professional with Japanese-English bilingual skills
•	Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and first-year graduate students are welcome to attend for internship opportunities and to learn more about the companies
