Held right at the event area, join other Career Forum participants for a casual reception the day BEFORE the event. A chance to meet other Japanese-English bilinguals while enjoying some hour d'oeuvres and drinks. With few opportunities for fellow job seekers to network, this reception will be the perfect opportunity to share information as well as prepare yourself for the Career Forum.

At the candidates' lounge, free breakfast will be served before the start of the Career Forum from 8:30AM. By arriving early, you can check in, and have some time to prepare before meeting with companies. Enjoy some breakfast and start off the day energized!

A lounge specifically for participants will be set up at the Career Forum. Tables and chairs will be available as well as finger foods at lunch time and light snacks and beverages in the morning/afternoon. Participants can prepare for interviews, fill in applications, or just sit and relax. Just taking a quick break can give you the extra boost of energy you need to make a good impression on a company.

Brunch with DISCO
After the Career Forum on Sunday (Sept. 19th), please join DISCO for brunch and discuss your experience at the Career Forum as well as any questions or concerns you may have about job searching. The buffet-style brunch is open to students who attended the Los Angeles Career Forum as well as Japanese-English bilingual students living in the LA area. This will also be a great opportunity to exchange information with other bilingual students. Share your thoughts with DISCO as you enjoy a Sunday brunch in Hollywood.

Japanese-English bilingual and one of the following:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's, master's or Ph.D. program outside of Japan
- Graduated from a bachelor's, master's or Ph.D. program outside of Japan
- Students from Japan currently or was enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate exchange program for more than one year
- Working professionals
- Freshmen, sophomores, juniors, and first-year graduate students are welcome to attend for internship opportunities and to learn more about the companies
