  • In 2013, the MSBA approved an extensive update to the SAGE Best Practices.  In fall of 2013, the MSBA Women in the Legal Profession Committee will be contacting previous signatories to recommit to the SAGE Best Practices as revised, and will be undertaking state-wide outreach to legal employers of all sizes and types to recommit to these principles.
  • In the 2013-2014 year, we are focusing on promoting the recently updated SAGE Best Practices .  We will be planning programming in the metro and greater Minnesota relating to that topic.  By May 1, 2014, our goal is to have 100 legal employers sign onto the SAGE Best Practices.  We welcome all new members who would like to help us meet this ambitious goal.
  • At the 2014 MSBA Nine Days in June, we will be announcing the first winner(s) of the revised SAGE Award for achievements in hiring, retaining and promoting women attorneys through the implementation of the SAGE Best Practices.
