Purpose: To examine the HCBA Glass Ceiling Task Force and Self-Audit for Gender
Equity (SAGE) reports and provide updates on both qualitative and quantitative
data on diversity in the profession.

Diversity Implementation Task Force
Purpose: To develop specific recommendations for action based on the
report of the Task Force on Diversity in the Profession. The Implementation
Task Force’s recommendations should provide law firms, law schools,
corporations, legal aid organizations, public law offices, and courts
with practical strategies and tactics they can use to increase the effectiveness
of their diversity efforts.

Rights of Unmarried Task Force
Purpose: To review the differences in the legal rights and protections available to unmarried couples as compared to married couples under Minnesota law, and make recommendations as to desirable changes to the law, if any, to address the disparities.
Diversity Planning Task Force
Purpose: The Diversity Planning Task Force will assess the MSBA's numerous diversity-related projects, as well as the internal infrastructure that delivers them, and advise the Assembly whether changes to the projects or structure should be made in order to ensure that the MSBA remains an effective leader for diversity within the Minnesota legal community.
